# Use Sellify from your AI assistant.

## What it is

**Your Sellify workspace, inside your AI chat.**

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way AI assistants connect to other apps. Once you connect Sellify, you can ask your assistant to do Sellify work for you.

Your assistant works in your Sellify workspace with your products, angles, boards and ads. Every result links back to the matching page in Sellify, so you can review it there. A few things, like launching ads on Meta, still happen in the app.

## Where it works

**Use the AI tool you already have.**

Sellify works in any AI tool that can add a custom MCP server. The [Connect any AI tool](https://sellify.ai/docs/developers/mcp#connect-any-ai-tool) guide has steps for each of these.

- **Claude:** On claude.ai, and in the Claude desktop and mobile apps. You sign in with your Sellify account.
- **ChatGPT:** In ChatGPT on the web, through developer mode on the Business, Enterprise and Education plans.
- **Grok:** Add Sellify as a custom connector on grok.com, including on Grok Business and Enterprise.
- **Mistral and Perplexity:** Add Sellify as a custom connector in Mistral Le Chat or Perplexity, with an MCP key you create in Sellify.
- **Code editors:** Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Windsurf and Zed.
- **The command line:** Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI and Gemini CLI.

## What you can ask

**Ask for the work in plain words.**

Ask in your own words. Your AI tool picks the right Sellify action and links you to the result.

- **"Find ads in my niche with a free shipping offer and tell me which angles keep coming back.":** Searches Ad Spy across your market and sums up the offers and angles that repeat.
- **"Write five new sales angles for my bestseller.":** Writes new sales angles from your product details and saves them to the product.
- **"Make five ads for my bestseller based on the ad I saved in Ad Spy.":** Makes original image ads for your product, using an ad you saved as the reference.
- **"Put the ads I made this week on a new board called Winners.":** Creates the board if it does not exist and moves the ads onto it.

## How to connect

**Connect in a few minutes.**

Every AI tool uses the Sellify address below. Add it as a custom connector or remote MCP server, then sign in, or use an MCP key if the tool cannot sign in. The [setup guide](https://sellify.ai/docs/developers/mcp) has the steps for each AI tool.

- **Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app):** Open Customize, then Connectors, and add a custom connector. Paste the Sellify address, select Connect, and sign in to Sellify.
- **ChatGPT:** Turn on developer mode in Settings, under Apps and then Advanced settings. Create an app, paste the Sellify address, choose OAuth, and sign in to Sellify.
- **Claude Code:** Copy the one-line command from the setup guide into your terminal. Then type /mcp in Claude Code and sign in to Sellify.
- **Cursor:** Create an MCP key in Sellify under Settings, then MCP keys. Add Sellify and your key to your personal Cursor MCP file, then restart Cursor.
- **Any other AI tool:** Add a custom connector or remote MCP server, paste the Sellify address, and sign in to Sellify. If the tool cannot sign in, add an MCP key as a header instead.

- **The same credits as the app:** Paid actions, like making ads or searching Ad Spy, use your normal Sellify credits. Reading your data, organizing boards and editing products are free.
- **A spending cap on every action:** Before a paid action, your AI tool tells Sellify the most it may spend. Sellify stops the action if it could cost more.
- **Daily limits protect your balance:** Each connection has a daily credit limit you can change, starting at 500 credits, and up to 100 live Ad Spy searches a day.

## Control and security

**You stay in charge of what it can do.**

Each AI tool works in one workspace and can only do what you allow. Owners and admins can change these rules in [MCP access settings](https://sellify.ai/docs/developers/mcp/manage-access).

- **Sign in with your Sellify account:** Your AI tool opens a Sellify window. Sign in the way you usually do, so you never share your password with the tool.
- **Pick the workspace and what it can do:** You choose the one workspace the tool can use, and what it can do there, such as reading your products or making ads.
- **Changes need an owner or admin:** Only workspace owners and admins can make changes through an AI tool. Members can read data and search Ad Spy.
- **See and revoke access at any time:** Owners and admins see every MCP key in the workspace and can revoke any of them, or turn off AI tools for members at any time.
