# Choose or create a workspace

> Select the correct working area and understand what a new workspace does.

A workspace groups the product and creative work available to its members. Your personal account can belong to more than one workspace.

## Switch workspaces

1. Open the workspace-name menu at the top of the app sidebar.
2. Select the intended workspace from the list.
3. Check the name after the page changes.
4. Open the product or chat you intended to use.

If expected work is missing, check that you have selected the correct account and workspace before recreating it. Switching is different from copying or transferring data.

## Create a workspace

If **New Workspace** is available in the menu, select it, enter a descriptive name and choose **Create Workspace**. The current name field accepts 3–32 characters. Follow the setup or access steps shown afterward.

Creating a workspace does not by itself prove that a paid plan or credits have been assigned. Review [plans and access](https://sellify.ai/docs/credits/plans-and-access) before starting work that needs them.

## If a workspace is unavailable

An incomplete setup can return you to onboarding. Other access or subscription conditions may also prevent entry. Follow the message shown for that workspace to find the next step.

If the workspace is not listed, verify that you accepted an invitation with the correct email address. Ask the owner to check membership. If creation is unavailable, ask about the access arrangement rather than assuming a particular upgrade is required.

## Settings and sign-out

Use **Settings** in the app sidebar for account and workspace settings. A **Sign Out** action is available in account menus. Signing out ends your session; it does not cancel billing or delete a workspace.
