# How do I rename a workspace?

> Open Settings → General, check that it is the intended workspace, change Workspace Name, then select Update name.

Open **Settings → General**, check that it is the intended workspace, change **Workspace Name**, then select **Update name**. Reopen the workspace to confirm the name.

If the save is rejected, check permissions and the displayed validation. Renaming does not copy or transfer the workspace's products.
