Current validation is file-type dependent: PDF and DOCX use a 10 MB limit, while text and Markdown use 1 MB. Images follow image-specific validation and may be prepared for upload. Follow the exact error shown rather than applying the old blanket “2 MB” limit to every file.

Upload a focused excerpt when a large document is unnecessary. A chat attachment is separate from a file attached to a product's Research section. Do not assume every attachment's full content will be used in every reply.
