# Why is my campaign paused?

> Every campaign Sellify creates is paused on purpose. You switch it on in Google Ads once the go-live checklist is clear.

**Because that is how Sellify creates them.** Every campaign arrives in Google Ads paused, so nothing spends until a person decides it should.

Open the campaign, read the **Go-live checklist**, then select **View in Google Ads** and enable it there. Afterwards, an owner or admin can select **Check status** so Sellify shows it as **Active**.
