# Do I need to sign in to Google to connect my account?

**No.** There is no Google sign-in step. A workspace owner or admin types the account's 10-digit **Customer ID** and a name on the **Ad account** tab and selects **Connect Google Ads account**.

What has to exist first is a link between your Google Ads account and Sellify's manager account, set up in Google Ads rather than in the app. If the connection fails saying the account is not a client of the manager account, that link is what is missing. Contact support with your Customer ID.
