# Check campaigns and go live

> Every campaign Sellify has created, its paused status, and the checklist to clear before you switch it on in Google Ads.

The **Campaigns** tab lists every Google Ads campaign created from this workspace. The page heading is **Google Ads campaigns**.

Campaigns arrive here paused. Turning one on is something you do in Google Ads, after the go-live checklist is clear.

## The campaign list

Each row shows the campaign and its product, **Status**, **Paused readback**, **Target account**, **Budget**, and when it was created and updated. The **Next step** column has a **Go-live checklist** button.

| Status | Meaning |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Draft** | Saved in Sellify but not yet created in Google Ads. |
| **Paused** | Created in Google Ads and not spending. This is where new campaigns land. |
| **Active** | Someone enabled it in Google Ads and Sellify has confirmed that. |
| **Scheduled** | Set to start on a later date. |
| **Failed** | Creation did not finish. |

**Paused readback** is Sellify's last confirmation from Google that the campaign is still paused. It updates when an owner or admin runs a status check.

Use the search box or the **Status** filter to narrow the list. **Export CSV** downloads the current view, up to the first 5,000 rows.

The menu at the end of each row has **View details** and **Open in Google Ads**. Owners and admins also see **Remove** on failed campaigns, which takes the row out of this list without touching Google Ads.

## The campaign page

Select **View details** or the **Go-live checklist** button to open a campaign. Across the top you will see the campaign's status and a note that it was created paused.

Four tiles summarise the **Target account**, **Daily budget**, **Goal** and **Country**. Below them are the details you set in the wizard and the creative that was used.

## The go-live checklist

The **Go-live checklist** card is the thing to read before you enable spend. Its badge says either **Ready for manual enable** or **Review before enable**.

| Item | What it checks |
| ------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Billing active** | Billing is set up in the Google Ads account. |
| **Merchant Center linked and products approved** | Sales campaigns only. Merchant Center is linked and has approved products. |
| **Purchase conversion action present** | Sales campaigns only. A purchase conversion exists so Google can optimise. |
| **Final budget confirmation** | Restates the daily budget so you confirm it before spend starts. |

Each item is marked ready, **Needs attention**, or not applicable when it does not apply to your goal. Fix anything marked **Needs attention** in Google Ads before you enable the campaign.

## Switching the campaign on

1. **Clear the checklist**

Fix anything marked **Needs attention**, either here or in Google Ads.

2. **Open the campaign in Google Ads**

Select **View in Google Ads**. The link opens the campaign directly.

3. **Enable it in Google Ads**

Change the campaign from paused to enabled in Google Ads. Spend starts from that moment, billed by Google.

4. **Confirm in Sellify**

Back on the campaign page, an owner or admin can select **Check status** so Sellify records that the campaign is now live.

## Checking a campaign's status

**Check status** asks Google Ads for the campaign's current state and updates the **Paused readback** and status badge. It is how Sellify notices a campaign you enabled by hand.

Only owners and admins see the button. It only works on campaigns that were created in Google Ads, so it does nothing on a **Draft** or **Failed** campaign.

## If something's not right

### The list says it couldn't refresh and is showing old results

**Why this happens:** the last request to load campaigns failed, so Sellify kept the previous list on screen.

**What to do:** reload the page. If it keeps happening, wait a few minutes and try again.

### Paused readback says the campaign isn't fully paused

**Why this happens:** Google reports that something in the campaign is enabled. Either someone turned it on, or Google enabled part of it.

**What to do:** open it in Google Ads and check the campaign and its asset groups. If you did not mean to enable it, pause it there.

### A campaign is stuck on Failed

**Why this happens:** Google never finished creating it.

**What to do:** open the campaign, select **Retry** if it is offered, or create it again from **Create campaign**. Owners and admins can then use **Remove** to tidy the failed row away.

### I enabled the campaign but Sellify still shows Paused

**Why this happens:** Sellify does not watch Google Ads continuously. It updates when someone checks.

**What to do:** ask an owner or admin to select **Check status** on the campaign page.
