Create paused Google Ads campaigns
Turn an ad from your Sellify library into a paused Google Ads campaign, then switch it on in Google Ads when you are ready.
Google Ads Manager creates a Google Ads campaign for you from a product and the creative you have already made in Sellify. It builds a Performance Max campaign in your Google Ads account and leaves it paused.
You turn the campaign on yourself, in Google Ads, once the go-live checklist is clear. Sellify never starts spend on your behalf.
Open it from Manage ads → Google Ads Manager in the sidebar. The top bar shows three tabs: Ad account, Create campaign and Campaigns.

Anything on the right-hand side happens in Google Ads itself. Every campaign page has an Open in Google Ads link to get you there.
Before you start
Google Ads Manager is enabled per workspace. If it is not in your sidebar, see Why can't I see Google Ads Manager?
Three things need to be in place. Without the first one, the campaign cannot be created at all.
- A connected Google Ads account. A workspace owner or admin connects it on the Ad account tab. See Connecting your account.
- A product or product URL. Pick a product you have saved in Sellify, or paste the product page address. It has to start with
https. - Creative. Two product images (one square, one horizontal), your workspace logo, at least three headlines and at least two descriptions.
Sales campaigns also need a Merchant Center account. Leads and Traffic campaigns do not.
Who can do what
Workspace owners and admins connect and remove Google Ads accounts, set up Merchant Center and conversion tracking, and check a campaign's live status. Everyone in the workspace can create campaigns and read the go-live checklist.
What it costs
Nothing in Sellify. Google Ads Manager does not use credits. Spend only starts once you enable the campaign in Google Ads, and that is billed by Google to your Google Ads account.
