# Connect your Meta account

> Link your Meta account, choose which ad accounts to import, and manage Pages, pixels, currency and timezone from Settings.

Facebook Ads Manager needs one Meta login per workspace. Whoever connects it should have access, in Meta, to the ad accounts you want to manage.

## Before you start

You will be sent to Meta's own login and permission screens. Have the Meta login that owns or manages your ad accounts ready, and know which businesses and ad accounts you want to share.

Sellify asks Meta for permission to manage and read ads, read insights, and list your Pages and Instagram accounts. You choose which businesses, ad accounts and Pages to share on Meta's side.

## Connecting

1. **Start the connection**

   Open **Facebook Ads Manager**. On the "Connect your Meta account" card, select **Connect Meta Account**.

2. **Approve it on Meta**

   Log in if Meta asks, then pick the businesses, ad accounts and Pages you want Sellify to see. Confirm.

3. **Wait for the import**

   You land back in Sellify on **Settings → Facebook Ads Manager**, on the **Meta** tab, with the message "Connecting accounts...". Ad accounts your business owns import on their own, and the first one becomes your default.

4. **Add any other ad accounts**

   Client and personal ad accounts do not import automatically. Under **Add more ad accounts**, tick the ones you want and select **Import**. The button shows how many you ticked.

After the import, Sellify starts loading your campaigns and results. Recent history arrives first and older history fills in behind a "Loading historical data" bar on the **Ads** page. You can keep working while it does.

If you cancel on Meta's side, you come back to Settings with nothing connected. Select **Connect Meta Account** to try again.

## The Meta tab

Everything connected lives on **Settings → Facebook Ads Manager → Meta**.

| **Ad Accounts**          | Every imported account, tagged **Business**, **Client** or **Personal**. **Set default** picks the one campaigns use unless you choose otherwise. **Sync insights** asks Meta for fresh results now. |

| **Meta Pixel**           | Pixels shared for conversion tracking.                                                                                                                                                               |

Removing an ad account asks you to confirm first, because it deletes that account's campaigns and results from Sellify too.

## The General tab

The **General** tab unlocks once an ad account is connected.

- **Reporting currency.** The currency spend is shown in across Sellify: **USD**, **EUR**, **GBP**, **CAD** or **AUD**. Saves as soon as you pick one.
- **Scheduling timezone.** How the start and end times you type on a campaign are read. Pick a city here to pin every campaign in this workspace to one timezone.

## Disconnecting

> **Disconnecting deletes your imported data**
>
> Disconnecting removes the Meta account and permanently deletes every imported ad account, pixel, Page, campaign and result from Sellify. This cannot be undone.
>
> Nothing changes on Meta itself. If you only want to stop managing one ad account, remove that account from the **Ad Accounts** card instead.

To disconnect, select **Disconnect** on the **Connected account** card and confirm. Removal runs in the background. You can connect a different Meta account afterwards.

## If something's not right

### It says the workspace already has a Meta account connected

**Why this happens:** a teammate connected their Meta login first, and a workspace holds one at a time.

**What to do:** use the account that is already connected, or have the workspace agree to disconnect it (which deletes the imported data) and connect yours.

### An ad account I expected isn't listed

**Why this happens:** it was not shared when you approved the connection on Meta, or your Meta login does not have access to it.

**What to do:** check whether it is under **Add more ad accounts** first. If not, disconnect and reconnect, sharing that account this time, or ask whoever manages the account in Meta to grant your login access.

### Connecting accounts... never finishes

**Why this happens:** the import stalled.

**What to do:** reload the page. If the **Ad Accounts** card is still empty, select **Connect Meta Account** again.

### My pixel or Page is missing

**Why this happens:** pixels and Pages arrive after the ad accounts, and only for accounts you have imported.

**What to do:** wait a minute and reload. If it is still missing, open the campaign builder and select **Refresh** at the top, which re-reads Pages and pixels from Meta.
