Organize ads into folders
Group generated ads by campaign, test or client, download a whole folder as a ZIP, and share one with a read-only link.
Folders group ads. One per campaign, one per test, one per client, whatever suits how you work. An ad can sit in several folders at once, and adding it to one does not move it out of All ads.
Folders live in the left rail under Ad library, beneath All ads.
Create a folder
Open the new folder form
Select New folder next to Folders in the rail.
Name it and pick a color
Type a Name (the placeholder suggests "Q2 winners") and choose a Color: blue, green, yellow, red, purple or orange. The color is the dot you see in the rail, so it is what makes a folder findable once you have a few.
Select Create folder
The folder appears in the rail straight away.
To nest folders, open a top-level folder's menu (Folder actions) and choose Create sub-folder. Only top-level folders offer it; a sub-folder cannot hold sub-folders of its own.
Add ads to a folder
Use Save to folders on an ad card, inside an open ad, or in the selection bar when you have ticked several ads. Tick the folders you want and confirm with Save to folders. New folder at the bottom of that picker creates one without leaving what you are doing.
Inside a folder that has sub-folders, you can also drag an ad card onto a sub-folder card to file it there.
Work with a folder
The Folder actions menu on a folder holds the rest.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Download all as ZIP | Downloads every ad saved directly in the folder, ignoring any filters you have on. The open folder view has the same control as Download folder. |
| Create sub-folder | Adds a folder inside this one. Top-level folders only. |
| Rename | Changes the name. |
| Change color | Changes the dot in the rail. |
| Share | Creates a public link and copies it. See below. |
| Manage share link | Appears once a link exists. Copy it again or stop sharing. |
| Delete folder | Removes the grouping. The ads stay in All ads. |
Drag folders in the rail to reorder them.
Share a folder
Share creates a link that anyone can open without signing in to Sellify. The shared page is read-only, and the link is copied to your clipboard as soon as it is generated. This is how you send work to a client or a colleague who does not have an account.
Once a link exists, Manage share link appears in the menu. That dialog shows the URL with Copy, and Stop sharing switches the link off.
A share link works for anyone who has it
There is no password and no sign-in. Treat the link like a public address, and use Stop sharing when the work is done.
Sharing is per folder. A single generated ad has no share link of its own; put it in a folder by itself and share that, or download the image. See Can I share an ad outside Sellify?
Delete a folder
Deleting a folder removes the grouping, not the ads. The confirmation says so: the ads it contained stay in All ads, only the folder grouping is removed.
Deleting a top-level folder also deletes its sub-folders. The ads in those survive too.
