AD SPY · FAQ
What's the difference between boards and folders?
Boards hold competitor ads you saved in Ad Spy. Folders hold ads you generated under Create ads.
They are the same idea in two places, and they do not mix.
| Where | What's in it | |
|---|---|---|
| Boards | Ad Spy → Boards and Saved ads | Competitor ads you saved from Discovery, Expert picks, brand pages or the Chrome extension. |
| Folders | Create ads → Ad library | Ads you generated in Sellify, filed with Save to folders. |
An ad you saved in Ad Spy does not appear in your Ad library, and an ad you generated does not appear on an Ad Spy board.
The bridge between them is recreation. When you use Recreate with my product on a saved competitor ad, the result is a generated ad and lands in Create ads → Ad library.
Boards can be nested one level deep, given a color and shared with a public link. Deleting a board removes the grouping only; the saved ads stay in Saved ads.
