# Organize saved ads into boards

> Save the ads worth keeping, group them into boards and sub-boards, and share a board or a single ad with someone outside Sellify.

Boards are where your saved ads live. One board per project, per competitor, per concept, whatever suits you. Sellify describes them as focused swipe files your team can return to and share.

Find them under **Ad Spy → Saved ads** (everything you have saved) and **Ad Spy → Boards** (the boards themselves).

> Ad Spy calls these **boards**. The equivalent in **Create ads → Ad library** is a folder. They are separate: boards hold competitor ads you saved, folders hold ads you generated in Sellify. ## Save an ad

Select **Save ad** on any ad in Discovery, Expert picks, the Following feed or a brand page. It opens **Save to boards**, where you tick the boards you want and confirm with **Save to 1 board** (or however many you picked). At least one board is required; the button reads **Select a board to continue** until you choose. Search the list if you have many, or use the **+** button to create a new board without leaving the dialog.

Every saved ad also appears in **Saved ads**, whichever boards it is on. Once saved, the card's save button changes to **Change boards or remove**, and the dialog gains **Remove from library** for taking the ad out of Sellify altogether.

Select several ads first and use **Add to Board** to save them together.

## Create boards

Open **Ad Spy → Boards** or use the **New board** button next to **Boards** in the sidebar. Give the board a name and pick a color. The color is what makes a board findable once you have a few, so it is worth setting.

## Sub-boards

A board's menu offers **New sub-board**. Boards support one level of nesting, so a sub-board cannot have sub-boards of its own.

Drag boards in the sidebar to reorder them.

## Edit or delete a board

Open the board's menu from the actions button on its row.

| --------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| **Edit**                          | Rename the board or change its color.      |
| **New sub-board**                 | Add a nested board underneath it.          |
| **Share** / **Manage share link** | Create or manage a public link. See below. |
| **Delete board**                  | Remove the board after you confirm.        |

Deleting asks you to confirm first and says what happens: saved ads stay in your library, just removed from this board. A board is only a grouping, so the ads themselves are not deleted.

## Share a board

**Share** in the board menu creates a public link and copies it for you. Anyone with the link can view the board read-only, without signing in to Sellify, which is how you send a swipe file to a client or a freelancer.

Once a link exists the menu shows **Manage share link**, where you can **Copy** it again or select **Stop sharing** to revoke it.

> There is no password and no sign-in on a shared board, and links can be forwarded. Revoke the link with **Stop sharing** when the work is finished.

## Share a single ad

A saved ad can be shared on its own. **Share** in the ad's menu creates a read-only public link and copies it; afterwards the menu offers **Manage share link** to copy it again or revoke it. The link shows only that ad, not the board it sits in.

## If something's not right

### I can't find an ad I saved

**Why this happens:** it went to a different board than you remember, or to no board at all.

**What to do:** open **Saved ads** rather than one specific board. Everything you have saved is there. Find it, then use the board button on the card to put it in the right one.

### Someone can't open the board link I sent

**Why this happens:** the link was revoked, or the board was deleted.

**What to do:** open the board's menu. If it offers **Share** rather than **Manage share link**, the old link is dead. Generate a new one and send that.

### I deleted a board by accident

**Why this happens:** the confirmation was accepted.

**What to do:** the ads are safe. They are still in **Saved ads**, because a board only groups them. Create the board again and re-add them.
